Laureate Professor Rodney Scott
Laureate Professor Rodney Scott is a member of the NEW1000 Executive Board. He is a geneticist and Co-Director of the Centre for Bioinformatics, Biomarker Discovery, and Information-Based Medicine, one of only two sites in Australia that directly links bioinformatics with clinical research practice.
He is a leading expert in medical genetics and precision medicine research, a field that focuses on developing individual patient-tailored treatments to ensure each person receives the best treatment for their condition.
Laureate Professor Scott will utilise his experience in bioinformatics to guide the analysis of large bioinformatic datasets created during the NEW1000 study.
