Information for Researchers

The NEW1000 Study has been carefully designed in collaboration with multiple research groups, community members and health professionals. The breadth and depth of data and biological samples has immense potential to generate new and exciting research to improve the health of our future generations.

How can I utilise the NEW1000 Study?

Researchers interesting in utilising the NEW1000 Study may request:

Access to existing data and samples collected;

  • Data linkage;

  • Implementation of a sub-study within the NEW1000 Cohort including a new clinical trial, observational study or intervention;

  • Implementation of new data or biological sample collection.

All proposed research projects will be subject to a review process prior to approval. Each application is review by the NEW1000 Study Management Group and Executive Committee.
